Frightened now to let you see,

These poems about you & me,

Fearful to talk & set free,

Feelings you have left with me,

The glass ceiling has prevented,

Pressures from being vented,

Don’t want to abandon you,

Watching carefully what to do,

Break the ceiling glass,

Bring rejections & my past,

Hope that in your good time,

Speak things without need to rhyme,

Is there some way for us to proceed?

Time is ticking, will we succeed?
