Cooking kitchen, amongst pots & pans,

Make munch mince, made with no cans, 

Seasoning & garlic, to stew real slow

Taste titillations, later to get to know,

Chopped sweet onions form a pyramid pile,

Fried translucent, transformed in a while,

Multi-coloured cubes the crunch just so,

Traffic light peppers are prepared to go,

Sweetcorn substitutes for pasta or rice,

The amino acids, mixed up in the dice,

Italian tomatoes, simmer & gently stir,

Waiting for marvellous magic to whir,

Take care to taste at first,  

& take a drink to quench your thirst.
