~ Rapid Chores ~

 

Oh my! Where does one start,

Oh well, can’t be too much to do,

Chairs, telly & microwave mathoms,

Too many papers to instantly fathom,

Open the curtains, windows & doors,

Bathroom & kitchen absorb more chores,

Suits, trousers, ties need new hooks,

Wash cutlery & coffee stained cups,

Books, bottles, & boxes, trying to hide,

Blow away cobwebs & pens on the side,

Gather the rubbish, remove all the trash,

A tea, a pause, before the mad dash,

Oh my! Stacks of stuff left to do,

Oh well! It will just have to do.
