~ Lost & Found ~

 

The parents have gone away,

Packing luggage for long stay,

Will he be long?

Will he come?

Time is pressing,

Too early to say,

Heralds at noontime,

Knight on the way,

Heartbeats a Flutter,

Time to flee mutter,

There in the sunshine,

The doorway he stands,

Caring and trusting, gentle all round.

Safely hugs me, as soon as I’m found,
